Danielle & Ernie - Scovill Gardens : Danielle and Ernie met me at Scovill gardens on a lovely day. Great scenery, great people and one totally awesome dog, what more could I want?!!!! I do appologize because Nigel was the star of this shoot!! Just kidding! I really love doing engagement sessions as it is a fun way to get to know the couple! Now you guys can see what I was so excited about when I took the pictures!

Kimberly & Nick - Allerton Park : I met with Kimberly and Nick at Allerton Park near Monticello, Il. We had a good time walking around and enjoying the park on a beautiful (but extremely sunny!) day. Elizabeth & Jim - Nelson Park : I really had a good time with Elizabeth & Jim. We met at Nelson Park - it was a very windy, chilly fall day. We went down into the rock garden - and were happy to get out of the wind. They were really nice to take pictures of because they were so natural together. They also had some ideas for some poses that turned out great! I am always open for suggestions. It was absolutely gorgeous in the garden - the colors of the trees and bushes were awesome!!! After we walked through the rock garden - we did brave the cold wind to go out by the lake. On of my favorites from this shoot is Elizabeth & Jim walking down the dock with the gulls flying - I love it!! Andrea & Matt - Fairview Park : Andrea & Matt were very fun to shoot. We met at Fairview Park on a nice, warm, extremely sunny late fall day. They have the coolest dog! She was such a pretty girl. We were scheduled to meet that day, but none of us knew that there was a marathon going on in the park. That was a funny distraction (especially for the dog (-: LOL) There were pretty fall colors and a great variety of places to shoot at the park. Jessica & James - Allerton Park : I met Jessica & James at Allerton Park for their engagement pictures. It was a chilly day - I remember Jessica putting on her coat in between shots (-: Jessica is my niece - and she was also the Flowergirl for my wedding 13 years ago - so I am feeling old now!!! We had fun. Allerton was beautiful as usual.
